Healthy students are better learners. That’s why we are here to help support your child’s health and wellness. Please contact our health services staff (see below) to let us know of any health concerns or medical conditions that your child may have. Remember, if your child is sick, please keep them home. See our When To Stay Home guidelines below.

Incoming Students

Incoming students are required to have their immunizations up-to-date. In accordance with the School Immunization Law, MN Statute, 121A.15, students may not enroll in school unless their student has had the appropriate vaccines needed for 7th grade.

Medications at School

A secondary student may possess and use nonprescription pain relief  medication in a manner that is consistent with the labeling, if the district has received a written authorization from the student's parent/guardian permitting the student to self-administer the medication.  This must be done on a yearly basis.

Pandemic Flu

Pandemic Influenza is a global outbreak of a new influenza which there is little or no immunity in humans, causing it easily to spread from person to person.

Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureaus (MRSA)

In the community most MRSA infections are skin infections that may appear as pustules or boils which often are red, swollen, painful, or have pus or other drainage.
