Valley Crossing Elementary School
Valley Crossing Elementary School officially became part of the South Washington County School District (ISD833) for the start of the 2016-2017 school year. Prior to ISD833 purchasing the building, VCCS was a unique school that served students from three school districts (Stillwater; South Washington County; North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale) for nearly 20 years. During that time, Woodbury residents who live within the Stillwater Area Public School boundary have been assigned to attend Valley Crossing.
For the 20162-2017 school year, Stillwater students will continue to attend Valley Crossing through an agreement with ISD833.
That will change for the 2017-2018 school year when Stillwater Area Public Schools opens Brookview Elementary school on 11179 Brookview Road in Woodbury. This school will open in the fall of 2017, and will be home to our students who currently attend Valley Crossing. The new elementary will also help relieve overcrowing at Lake Elmo Elementary and Afton-Lakeland Elementary.
We are really excited for the many changes on the horizon in Stillwater Area Public Schools and the incredible opportunities they will provide your child.
