An abundant day of the arts for 3rd graders

December 13, 2018

3rd graders enjoyed an abundant day of the arts this week.  They traveled to the Children's Theater Company to see "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" followed by a visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts where they were on the lookout for masterpieces throughout.

We're so grateful that Children's Theater Actors and Sawyer Sigmund's parents, Autumn Ness (Cindy Lou Who's Mother) and Reed Sigmund (The Grinch) led the 3rd grade students and teachers in a mini theater workshop where children retold a scene.

And, most importantly, 3rd graders are striving to live Cindy Lou Who's message to reach out, include others and be kind.

Thank you to the families who supported our trip!
