Answer each question for application. Accuracy is critical as this becomes your contact information.

You will be sent an email to confirm your enrollment for the CR participation. Seniors will be given priority for enrollment. All students must attend each day and absences will delay or deny credit granted as 17.5 hours on site is required to earn the credit per our program.

Students who will be seniors, juniors, or sophomores during the 2016-2017 school year may apply with the aid of their school counselor.

SPRING SESSION DATES:  March 28, 2017-May 25, 2017

Sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

ROOMS:  Stillwater High School -   E102 and E105  (Class roster will be posted outside each room)

TIME: 2:15 - 4:15 PM, Monday through Thursday

IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Students are expected to attend classes at Stillwater High School until the course is completed. This is NOT a drop in program.

If students must miss because of court appointment, once in a lifetime family event, the parent must inform the ALC staff PRIOR to determine if the student will be able to enroll or earn the credit hours as 17.5 credit hours on site is required in our district.

If a student is ill, the parent/guardian contacts the ALC attendance line at 651-351-8472.

Students who do not stay on track to meet target completion date risk being dropped from the program.

There are no extensions for this program as staff will only serve during the dates of the program.

This year we will have 3 opportunities.  Credits are to be awarded when students earn 17.5 hours and 100% of course is complete.

COURSE EXPECTATIONS

All CR courses will be standards based including: English 9, 10, 11, 12; Science 9, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, Advanced Algebra/Algebra w Quads, Geography/Global studies, World History, US History, Economics, and Government.

The CR program uses Edgenuity, a web based program so students will be able to work at a local library or at home when not on site. This will allow motivated students to have greater credit earning and a speedy completion so they can optimize hours and complete the required credits and seat time. You must have a school google account to participate in this actual classroom program. New students will get an account at the start of the program.

CREDIT

At this time our Credit Recovery students must meet attendance requirements of 17.5 hours per credit/course. If dropped due to behavior or attendance you will receive NG or no grade. There are no incomplete grades in CR. P/Pass grades are awarded on transcript upon full credit completion. Partial credits are not awarded on transcript at Stillwater Area High School.

ALL students are to conduct themselves in a respectful manner to all credit recovery teachers, staff, the building, classmates, and others in the high school setting during this program. If a student is referred to admin, parent/guardian will be contacted and a decision will be made as to whether they can remain in the program. Teachers will distribute and review behavioral, academic, and entrance and exit expectations.

Please complete and submit this online registration no later than Wednesday, September 7th. Computers are available in the Credit Recovery classroom at the high school.  Please check in with your counselor so you enroll in the appropriate course for credit recovery.
