Schools closed, Distance learning through May 4

The Governor has ordered all Minnesota schools to remain closed with distance learning in place from March 30 through May 4 to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Withrow is one of eight Minnesota schools nominated for this award, and has the opportunity to also be honored as a National Blue Ribbon School during a special ceremony in Washington, D.C. in September.

Marine Elementary Choir dazzles at Holidazzle Parade

On Saturday, December 3, 29 students from the 5th and 6th grade choir at Marine Elementary School and their music teacher, Megan Holroyd, had the unique opportunity to perform at Target’s annual Holidazzle Parade in downtown Minneapolis. The night-time parade route goes through Nicollett Mall, and the students rode on a float and wore lighted choir robes.

In its sixth year, DaVinci Fest is bigger and better than ever.
