Stillwater Area High School students know how to put on a show. Join us for their latest production of Pippin running from March 31 through April 9.
The ensemble cast tells the story of Pippin (Stone Weidner), a young prince who longs to find passion and adventure in his life. To prove his loyalty to his distracted father, King Charles (Alex Serier) , Pippin goes to war. But when the leading player (Mary Burchill) convinces the prince to fight tyranny, Pippin kills Charles and takes over the throne.
With infectious tunes by Stephen Schwartz and classic choreography from Bob Fosse, Pippin is both a humorous allegory about growing up and a dark tale of the danger of false appearances and empty promises.
PG-13 rated themes and language. Parental guidance suggested.
