Stillwater Area High School ranked 11th in the state by U.S. News and World Report

Stillwater Area High School has once again been named one of the top high schools in the state. U.S. News and World Report ranked SAHS 11th in Minnesota, up from 16th last year. The Best High Schools rankings evaluated data on nearly 20,500 public high schools in the country to identify which schools are best at preparing students for college and careers.

U.S. News used a four-step process to evaluate whether a school was serving all of its students, not just those who are college bound. Researchers looked at school reading and math scores, how disadvantaged students performed, along with graduation rates and college readiness.

SAHS ranked 609th in the country and earned a silver medal which was awarded to just 10% of high schools nationally.
