Students from Stonebridge Elementary visited Lakeview Hospital with stuffed animals in tow. Children bring their dolls and furry friends to the Teddy Bear Clinic where they receive heart check-ups, bandaging and temperature checks from hospital volunteers. The students also visited a pretend emergency room, explored an ambulance, learned about nutrition, and ate healthy snacks from PowerUp.

The program provides an age appropriate experience for kindergartners to learn more about the healthcare environment, alleviating the stress and anxiety that is sometimes associated with coming to the hospital. More photos on Facebook.
