Boutwells Landing residents Leo and Geanne have been named 2018 Senior Homecoming Royalty. The two were crowned senior citizen Homecoming king and queen by the Stillwater Area High School student council. Unfortunately, Leo wasn’t feeling well so his daughter stood in to accept the honor on his behalf. We were able to visit Leo in his room.

Before the crowning, the SAHS pep band performed a few songs for the residents including the school rouser. The Pony mascot even showed up to spread some Pony Pride.

The staff nominated a total of nine residents for the court. Residents and staff then voted to select the king and queen. This is the sixth year SAHS has traveled to a local senior community to crown senior royalty. The king and queen and entire court are invited to attend the homecoming activities and football game at the high school on Friday.
