2015 - Todd Bol

Todd Bol (Class of 1974) had a lengthy and accomplished resume – working as a public school teacher, sales manager, a global countertrade consultant and a CEO. But he is best known as the creator of the Little Free Library, a worldwide, free book exchange that has established more than 23,000 libraries in more than 70 countries around the world. He built the first little free library as a tribute to his mother, a former school teacher who loved reading. The concept soon caught on and grew to become an official organization in 2012 with the goal of promoting literacy and the love of reading to people around the world.
