Top juniors honored for academic achievement and community involvement

2015 Book Award recipients

Top students from the Class of 2016 were honored at the Stillwater Area High School's annual Book Award Ceremony. Seven juniors were recognized for their academic achievements and community involvement. The awards come from some of the top universities in the country including, Harvard, Yale and Dartmouth. The SAHS counseling department sponsored the event, which was held on May 27 in the school's College and Career Center.

Several universities were represented by alumni who spoke a few words about their college experiences. Among those on hand, Dartmouth Alumna Anne Hart, Wellesely Alumna Anne Schwab and Yale Alumnus the Honorable Richard C. Luis. Students were presented with a book chosen by the school or alum.
