Free & Reduced Price Meals

Receive nutritious school meals at a free or reduced price and help our schools receive education funds and discounts.

Did you know that by applying for free or reduced price meals you're not just helping your family save money, but you may also help your school qualify for additional funding to support our kids? It's a win-win!

Who can get free or reduced-price meals?
Children in households participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), and foster children can get free school meals without reporting household income. Also, children can get free or reduced-price school meals if their household income is within the maximum income shown for their household size on the instructions. Approval for school meal benefits is good for the school year.

Families MUST fill out a new application for benefits each school year. The 2017-18 application for Education Benefits will be available in August.

Cover letter and application are also available after August 1 at individual school offices or at Stillwater Area Schools Central Service Building located at 1875 South Greeley Street, Stillwater, MN.
