Stillwater Area Senior High School is hosting a college fair on Tuesday March 13, from 5-7 p.m. in the senior high gymnasium. The Minnesota Education Fair (MEF) provides families an opportunity to meet with representatives from approximately 125 regional and Midwest colleges (two and four year), professional schools and military organizations. This event is one in a series of regional college fairs held around Minnesota to inform families about educational options after high school.

Attendance at the fair is free and offers you an opportunity to introduce yourself to the myriad of post-secondary educational choices that are available in the upper Midwest. You can gather literature, ask questions and learn more about post-secondary options. Whether your child is just beginning their post-secondary search or has narrowed it down to a few institutions, attendance at the fair is an exceptional way to gather detailed information directly from an admission counselor. Evidence suggests that good planning and thorough research of various options enhance the chances of a good match between the students and the post-secondary institution.

To save time, a student may register their personal information at before attending the MEF, print out the barcode, and bring it with them to the fair. The barcode can be scanned at the fair by the colleges a student is interested in.

Please mark Tuesday, March 13 on your calendar! Although parents are encouraged to attend with their son or daughter, students are welcome to come alone. We hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to meet directly with admission representatives!
