Ready, Set, Go Conferences

Ready, Set, Go (RSG) Conferences are provided for all kindergarten through fifth grade students prior to the start of the school year. The conferences are designed for teachers and students to get to know each other.  We welcome parents, but there will be limited time for teacher/parent conversation. As parents, you always have the option of scheduling a separate time with your child’s teacher if you feel the need to share information before school starts.

The purpose of this conference is to help your child begin building a relationship with their teacher and for the teacher to begin learning about your child as a student.

We understand that it can be difficult for parents to balance their work schedule and RSG.  Because this time is really meant for the teacher and student interaction, many students come with a neighbor, grandparent, or friend. This is perfectly acceptable if it’s a hardship to take time off work. Because RSG is primarily a teacher/student conference, if you have more than one child at a school, you may schedule them at the same time.

Each conference will last approximately 25 minutes. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled conference time. When you arrive, our staff will welcome you into the building and direct you to your conference area. During conference time, your child will engage in both social and academic activities with their teacher.
